Deluxe Rooms

Junior Suites

Furnished in a classic Venetian style, our Junior Suites located at the first floor include a large semi-canopied double bed. Original antiques, high ceilings and two large windows make the room airy and light. The walls are fabric lined and the draperies are in brocade. Our "new style" Junior Suites located at higher floors are completely refurbished in French eighteenth century style, feature textiles in warm tones with original designs, each different from the next, precious parquet flooring and bathrooms with resplendent white marbles. Our Junior Suites at 4th floor come with a private balcony overlooking the main street of the city of Bologna, ideal for sampling an aperitif or a romantic dinner by candlelight. Our prestigious suites have distinctive Venetian-style furnishings, walls covered in soft silk, precious brocade drapery and a large semi-canopied double bed in delicate colours which, together with the original antiques, create an atmosphere which is at the same time refined and welcoming. The suites have a small sitting room. The high ceiling and large windows make the atmosphere pleasantly comfortable and light. Presidential Suite "GIAMBOLOGNA"

Located at the first floor facing Via Indipendenza, this marvellous Presidential suite offers a main bedroom with a large sized double bed and an adjoining sitting room. The presidential suite is remarkably spacious with separate sleeping and living quarters. A large entryway leads to a stylish living room featuring elegant French antique furniture and fabric lined walls once used by Princess Diana. Two elegant display cabinets show fine antiques original pieces. The rare marbled bathroom includes double wash-basins, bath tub, walking shower, towel rack. Presidential Suite "GIUSEPPE VERDI"

he Giuseppe Verdi Presidential Suite is remarkably spacious with separate sleeping and living quarters all facing Via Indipendenza. The main feature of this room is the elegance of the fine furniture. A large entryway leads to a stylish living room featuring elegant French antique furniture and fabric lined walls. Royal Suite "GIUSEPPE VERDI"

The Royal Suite Giuseppe Verdi is without doubt the richest, most iconic suite in classic Venetian style in the building. Comprising an entrance hall, created in order to separate the areas effectively, it has a large lounge filled with period features and two unique bedrooms. The snug velvet armchairs, precious fabrics on the walls, refined drapery, bar corner, period fireplace, lustrous crystal lamp and cabinet filled with fine porcelain all come together to create an ambiance that is highly unique, sophisticated and original. The romantic bedroom truly speaks of long ago with its carefully-selected textiles, precious carpet, velvet-adorned four-poster bed, lampshades and a historic dressing table. The spacious walk-in wardrobe communicates directly with the bathroom which has three separate areas. The double bed in the second bedroom, the only one of its kind in the entire hotel with its special, meticulous hand inlaying, is a genuine work of art which will amaze even the most demanding connoisseurs. The bathroom, a true corner of sensory and visual wellbeing, has two washbasins, a Jacuzzi hydro-massage tub and a large shower cubicle. Everything is covered with precious Carrara marble. Art Deco Terrace Suite

The Art Deco Terrace Suite, so-called due to its unique style to be found nowhere else in the hotel, is the Grand Hotel Majestic's most prestigious suite. It was created during the most recent refurbishment of the hotel, and has a truly captivating character. It is the only room on the 5th floor to have a private lift with direct access to the room. The suite has a large living room with a fireplace and bar corner, two bedrooms and two bathrooms covered in precious Carrara marble in black and white tones with small silver points of light which, like stardust, further embellish the environment, making it sparkle. The two bedrooms are enriched with soft chests in predominately black and silver-grey shades, and design elements which give a character that revisits the classic Art Deco style of the 1930s. The large, splendid terrace of approximately 80 square metres is the true gem of this suite and provides its guests with a truly unique, previously unseen panoramic view of Bologna. Beyond the city's towers, cathedral and characteristic red roofs lie the Bolognese hills. The terrace may also be used for cocktails, aperitifs and private receptions, and very special photography sessions thanks to the breathtaking view. The suite is effectively equipped with all the latest modern conveniences: Two satellite plasma-screen televisions, a DVD player, mini-bar, direct telephone line, Wi-Fi internet connection and a convenient desk.
